I had a chance to play this game myself, and I want to share my opinion with you. The game is great, but it certainly has some disadvantages.
What was great:
- vivid surrounding
- descent story
- up to date graphics
What was bad:
- glitches even on powerful pc's
- too complicated fighting system
- boring

So this is my short review. Waiting for your comments.

It's unfortunate that the game was so buggy when it was first released. There's no doubt that made a significant dent in sales and put a lot of people off what is otherwise a very good RPG.

The Witcher is a really cool game; I thought it was going to be the old usual RPGl, but it surprised me. Sweetest graphics I have seen in a while mixed with a gripping story line.

are there any news about the witcher 2?
part 1 of the game was great, but nowadays there are severeal other games with better graphics, etc.
A second part of this great game would be fine!

Although many people are bashing it, I've played and finished this game and it totally rocks. There are few really good RPGs nowadays, the companies are going for MMORPGs more and more.

The Witcher is a nice game with a very good graphic. We have in Germany very big the witcher Communitys with big fans!

I'm the same way as Franklin... To me it is really all about the gameplay and less focused on the graphics. I've played the 360 many times, and same with the PS3 with a variety of different games. None of them even seem to be fun or exciting anymore. For example I played through the first few levels of COD5 and it just isn't exciting. I HATE forced gameplay where I need to only go on one path and thats that. Why did previous games on older systems and consoles feel less 'forced' upon us as opposed to todays games.

I'm with used on this, there are many classics that are still played until this day and graphics have nothing to do with them. Take for example Starcraft, Halo 1, Counterstrike…. These are games that have a following and are played because they have some of the best multiplayer to date. I love the progression of graphics but it seems that gameplay is an afterthought.
