I've never used Play.com before and it looks as if I've been bumped off:

Order Date Item Price Status
18/03/2007 Saints Row £24.99 Order Taken
18/03/2007 XBox 360 Premium Console
with Gears Of War and Crackdown
£289.99 Order Placed

Which basically means that the Saints Row order has been half-processed and the Xbox 360 order has not even been looked at. We got several emails saying that we need to do an additional security check and one that said they are waiting for bank clearances. According to many other people who have bought at Play.com, everything they ordered came within 3-4 working days. I am now thinking of creating a new account and restarting the whole order. I'll keep you informed.

Update:
First the good news; my Xbox 360 is now apparently being processed and my account has been approved, it has taken half a month but it is finally being packaged and sent to me. According to their website, my Xbox 360 is being packed and getting ready for shipment, while the Saints Row game still says that the order has been taken.

It is stupid that it has taken this long and I am surprised that they haven't (as of yet) sent me an apologetic letter/email stating why it has taken so long. Meh, I am not going to complain though because it does now seem to be moving, I am just glad that I stuck with Play.com and didn't go and buy it from Game, bearing in mind that Play.com is the only website, that I can find which offers you the Xbox 360 console with Gears of War and Crackdown for only £289.99!

Now for the bad news; I have been going out more and generally doing other things lately so I don't think that I will be playing the Xbox much when it arrives. Also it will take 3-4 working days for it to get to me, which can be a pain in the arse as if I do decide to play it, I will want to play it during the week rather than at the weekend, when I am less likely to be going out.

Going to play paintball tomorrow just after doing some Parkour, yesterday which I am still recovering from – I seem to have sprained my wrist – so I will be in quite a bit of pain tomorrow. All to a good cause though, I am sure.
