Google Analytics combined with Google Webmaster Tools can be a lovely set of tools for webmasters to eliminate web crawl errors and find out where your visitors are coming from whether that be referrer-wise or country-wise. Google Analytics tells you exactly how many page views and unique visitors you have had per day whilst also showing what website lead them to yours and approximately where they live. Google Webmaster Tools helps you to understand the Googlebot and how it operates, letting you fine tune the settings for the bot and showing you any errors that it found while crawling your site.
I use Google Analytics nearly every time I turn on my computer, just so that I can see how many people I get visiting my website, it can be quite handy. It is just a shame that there is no way to output the data onto your website, the only output features currently available is Tab Seperated Text, XML or as an Excel Spreadsheet, which isn't really worth doing in my opinion.
Google do offer some nice tools, it is just a shame that the search is still web 1.0 style, they should start to use AJAX, add tabbed searching and generally improve the search feature so that it is more user-friendly and versatile.
