Was generally browsing the web the other day – as you do when you get bored of Counter-Strike: Source, 7th game in a row win on Office and it is in the middle of the week so you don't feel like doing anything (although my wins on Counter-Strike are more of 1 in 10, so that didn't happen to me) – and stumbled across BlogMad.

BlogMad is basically another blog trafficker, just like any other but with some improvements that seem to make it worthwhile registering for. For example you earn yourself credits for visiting peoples blogs that are registered on BlogMad, these credits can then be used to give your blog the added boost it needs to get more visitors from BlogMad, or they can be gambled on the lottery, where you have a change to win around 2000 credits per day.

BlogMad says that they are not a revolutionary trafficking site, they are evolutionary:

Its not a revolutionary trafficking site, hell no, those are a dime a dozen. It's evolutionary! Because we have evolved. Let's look at the whole picture…

What else is there to note than the fact that the internet has become a blog mad, crazy place? But how do you get people to view your blog? With today's current traffic sites its possible but is it really worth your while?

Our aim is not only to drive traffic to your blog, that's old hat. We want to help you make your blog famous. We want you to get the most out of your blog and by that we mean that we are going to be right here with you as you go ballistically BlogMad!

I am not so sure though. According to Google Analytics I get about 5% of my visitors a day from BlogMad, which isn't too bad I suppose, but those visitors probably don't stay for the required time to even read the title of the blog; nearly all of the visitors from BlogMad are viewing from the "Blog Surfer" which is used to surf through the registered blogs on BlogMad to gain points, you have to wait about 25 seconds on each page before advancing to the next, so most of my viewers from BlogMad don't even manage to read the header, let alone the first post. This does seem a little pointless, but it does keep a steady flow of visitors and maybe some of them do stop for more than 25 seconds and read more that just 1 paragraph of a post, so I am going to keep my account as see what happens.
